Newton, Mass. 03/04/13) - Lasell College freshmen Ashlee Pechulis (Westfield, Mass.) was selected by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference as the Rookie of the Week for her play in the opening week of the season.

The rookie started in her first collegiate game, pushing Lasell to a 13-12 victory over Curry College and helping the Lasers secure their first win of the season. Pechulis fired off three shots off and scooped up a groundball while scoring a pair of big goals in her first game.
