Slattery Reaches 100 Goal Mark in Women’s Lacrosse

Newton, MA – On Saturday March 10th, Lasell College junior Ashley Slattery became the fourth player in the history of the women's lacrosse program to reach the 100 goal mark for her career. Slattery's milestone goal came with 26:39 left in the second half, and was the third of her career-high eight goal performance.

The Weymouth, MA native currently has 105 goals through the first 35 games of her career. Slattery has also recorded 24 assists, giving her a career total of 129 points. She trails Tina Canavan (191 goals), Caitlyn Murphy (240 goals), and Mandi Rapisardi (272 goals) on the all-time list.

Head coach Cait Connolly couldn't be happier for Slattery. "She definitely deserves to reach a milestone like this. She's our hardest worker, and the backbone of our team. The great thing about Ashley is that she brings as much to our team through her leadership as she does by scoring goals. In fact, I had to tell Ashley she scored her 100th goal, she had no idea the only thing she was worried about was that we won the game."
