CENTERVILLE, MA -- After finishing the regular season with a 15-5 record, Western New England was selected as the No. 1 seed in the 2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Women's Lacrosse Championship. The tournament is a four-team field with the semifinal games on Wednesday and the championship game on Saturday.
In the semifinal contests on Wednesday, Western New England (15-5) will host Simmons College (7-5) at 4:00 p.m. The second seed, Curry College (15-4), will face No. 3 Lasell College (11-6) at 6:00 p.m. at Curry.
The winners will advance to the finals on Saturday. The winner of Western New England/Simmons will face the winner of Curry/Lasell at 1:00 p.m. in the championship game at the highest remaining seed.

No. 4 Simmons College (7-5) at No. 1 Western New England College (15-5), 4:00 p.m.
No. 3 Lasell College (11-6) at No. 2 Curry College (15-4), 6:00 p.m.
Championship – Saturday, May 14 (at highest remaining seed)
