Brookline, MA - The Lasell University Lasers won their third straight game on Thursday, defeating NAIA opponent Fisher 69-43. The Lasers are now 9-6 on the season, while the Falcons are 1-17.

The Lasers slowly built up their lead throughout the first quarter, always answering every time the Falcons scored. A Laura Johnson jump shot with a minute remaining in the quarter gave the Lasers the 20-11 lead they would take into the second quarter. It was in the second that the Lasers really grabbed control, using a 16-0 run over the first six minutes of the quarter. They would outscore the Falcons 23-4 in the quarter, giving them a 43-15 lead at the break. The Lasers would take the foot of the pedal in the second half, and ultimately won 69-43.

The Lasers were led by two double-digit scorers in Shirle Major and Kiara Cerruti, each scoring 18 points. Major also made a big impact on the defensive side of things, recording eight steals, tied for the fifth most in school history. Leading the team in rebounds was Laura Johnson, as she grabbed 15 rebounds, while also adding eight points. Hailey Johnson and Brooke Damboise each had three assists.
