Franklin, MA - The Lasell Women's Basketball team won their second straight conference game by defeating Dean on Tuesday by a final score of 68-47. The Lasers are now 8-6 on the season, and 3-2 in GNAC play, while the Bulldogs are now 2-14 and 0-6.

The Bulldogs made the first shot of the game, but it was all Lasers after that. Lasell used a 13-0 run over the next four minutes to take a 13-3 lead. They would lead 21-6 after the first quarter. The second quarter was no different, as the Lasers outscored the Bulldogs 16-8, giving them a 37-14 lead at the break. The Lasers would build their lead up to as many as 25 in the fourth quarter, before ultimately winning 68-47.

The Lasers had three double digit scorers, led by Shirle Major's 16. Right behind her were Kiara Cerruti (12) and Laura Johnson (11). Blaize Mack led the team with eight rebounds. Major led the team with four assists and three steals.

Up Next - The Lasers will play again on Thursday when they travel to Fisher.
