NORTHFIELD Vt. – The Lasell College women's basketball team fell to Norwich University Saturday afternoon, 63-43, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game in Andrews Hall.

Norwich opened up the game on a tear, outscoring the Lasers 17-6 in the opening quarter and 18-5 in the second. Shyann Josler (Thetford Center, Vt.) led the way for the Cadets with 19 points, seven assists, and six rebounds on the day. Josler was the only double-digit scorer, as Norwich spread the wealth around with 12 different Cadets notching a point in the contest.

Senior Morgan Church accounted for 15 of the 43 Laser points on the day, as well as pulling in six rebounds. Classmate Brianna Hoffman (Milford, N.H.) added 10 points and junior Liz Bougie (Sanford, Maine) contributed seven points off the bench.
