NEWTON, Mass. (2/6/17) –  Freshman Dana Ross (East Haven, Conn.) averaged 10 points and 10.7 rebounds per game last week to earn Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week honors, as announced Monday afternoon by the conference office.

Ross takes home the first weekly honors for women's hoops this season, and breaks an eight-week Rookie of the Week streak from Suffolk University.

In the Lasers' three-game outing, Ross collectively scored 30 points with 32 rebounds, highlighted by a 12-point, 13-board performance in Lasell's closer versus Rivier.

Ross and the Lasers will play the final three regular season games inside the Lasell Athletic Center, beginning tomorrow, February 7 against Anna Maria at 7:00 p.m.
