Newton, Mass. (01/21/2013) - Lasell College freshmen guard Molly Lauver (Cambridge, N.Y.) earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season, and for the second consecutive week.

Lauver posted averages of 17.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists for Lasell who finished 1-2 on the week, suffering a pair of close road losses before bouncing back with a home victory. Lauver scored 24 points in Lasell's win over Mount Ida, drilling five three pointers. On the week, the rookie also posted a solid 81.8 shooting percentage from the charity stripe.
