Lasers Easily Defeat the Visiting Lynx 69-50

Newton, MA--The women's basketball team picked up their second win of the season tonight defeating Lesley University at home.  The Lasers had control of the game from the start, never trailing and leading by as much as 24 at one point. 

Lasell was led by first year player Kim Archibald (Lewiston, ME) who led all scorers with 20 points.  Archibald also led the team in rebounds, collecting 14 tonight for a double double.

Also playing well were senior Tricia Culver (Northampton, MA) and sophomore Kelsey Converse (Laconia, NH) who scored 16 points and 11 points respectively. Point guard Katie Farr (Rindge, NH) shot well from the floor going 6-9 from the field and 2-3 from three point land for a total of 14 points as well as collecting five assists.

Jodi Fralick (Woburn, MA) led the Lynx with 12 points and 8 rebounds on the night.  Lesley University drops to 0-5 overall.

The Lasers are now on a two game winning streak and have improved their record to 2-5 overall. They will travel to Gordon College on Thursday, December 10th  for a 7:00 p.m. game.
