Lasers Let Lead Slip Away, Drop Game to Gordon 56-55

WENHAM, MA. -- Lasell fell behind for the first time in the game with 37 seconds left to play, and  Gordon held on for a come from behind 56-55 win in Wenham.  The Lasers were up 52-43 with 5:30 to go, but the women were held scoreless until the game's final second as Gordon went on a decisive 13-0 run to win the game.

Lasell jumped out to a 30-20 lead in the first half, shooting 43% from the floor and holding the Scots to just 23%.  Gordon came back in the second half though, improving their shooting percentage to  46% and holding the Lasers to just 33%. 

Lasell was led  first year player Kim Archibald (Lewiston, ME), who tallied 14 points and 13 rebounds.  Katie Farr (Rindge, NH) also played well putting up 11 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. 

The women drop to 2-6 overall and will host non-conference opponent Anna Maria at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
