Kim Archibald Leads Lasers to Victory Over Anna Maria

Newton, MA--The women hosted non-conference opponent Anna Maria College today for their last game before the holiday break.  Lasell took the lead early and never trailed on their way to a 62-54 victory at home.  The women went into halftime with a four point lead and then held the visiting Wildcats to an overall shooting percentage of 37% for the game. 

First year player Kim Archibald (Lewiston, ME) led the team, scoring another double double, with 23 points and 17 rebounds.  Also playing well for the Lasers today was first year player  Reegan Bracket (Scarborough, ME) who put in 10 points and tallied 6 assists.  Junior Katie Farr (Rindge, NH) also scored 10 points in the victory.

For Anna Maria, Samantha Ashton led the team in scoring with 14 and Maggie Sielawa pulled down 17 rebounds. 

The women go into the break with an overall record of 3-6.  They will be in action again on Tuesday, January 5th when they host WNEC at 7:00 p.m.
