In New Haven on Saturday afternoon the Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball Team trailed 43-37 at half time and as much as 15 in the second half but rallied to tie the game for the 17th time with just two minutes to play but couldn't overcome Lasell College's late push losing 79-72.  Albertus was lead by a team high 23 points and team high 10 rebounds from sophomore center Nikki McClease (New Haven, CT).  Lasell College was lead by senior guard Shauna Kelly (Quincy, MA) and her game high 31 points.  Lasell College improves  to 4-8, 1-0 GNAC while Albertus Magnus College drops to 5-5, 0-1 GNAC.  The Lady Falcons travel to Emmanuel College on January 13, 2009 with a 5:30 PM Tip-Off and Lasell hosts Johnson & Wales University at 7:00 p.m.
