Lasell's Shauna Kelly was recognized this week on the national scale by D3hoops.com, being named to their Team of the Week.  D3hoops.com is recognized as the leading source for Division III basketball, and selects the Team of the Week from national nominations by Sports Information Directors and coaches.

Kelly, a 5'7" guard from Quincy, Mass., was selected after an outstanding week, in which she averaged 20.5 points per game, shooting 48.1% from the field, and totaling 82 points in four contests.  Kelly recorded a game, season, and career best 27 points against Roger Williams University on Saturday, November 22nd.  Kelly also shot an unbelievable 17-19 (90%) from the free throw line against Roger Williams, and went 30-36 (83.3%) from the line over the course of the week.

Over the course of the week, Kelly also averaged 5.0 rebounds per game, with ten offensive and ten defensive boards, as well as picked up 9 assists and 6 steals.

Kelly has been the high scorer in all four of Lasell's contest this season so far, with fourteen points against Wheaton College, twenty against Clarkson University, and 21 against Eastern Nazarene.
