PORTLAND, Maine (11/16/13) - The Lasell College men's cross country team closed out their 2013 season with a 47th place finish at the NCAA regional meet held at the University of Southern Maine. 

Alex Weselcouch and Cameron Wiewel finished less than two-tenths of a second apart as they placed 205th and 206th in a field of over 350 competitors. Weselcouch who has led the way for Lasell all season posted a time of 28:41.04 for the 8K course, with Wiewel nipping on his heels in a time of 28:41.18. 

Kyle Northrop was third for Lasell in a time of 31:13 followed by Priamo Compres who finished in 31:40. Andrew Panther was fifth across the line for the Lasers in 32:11 followed by Tyler Schwabe and Leo Saporta with times of 37:36 and 37:40 respectively.
