STANDISH, Maine (11/2/13) – The Lasell College men's cross country team finished fifth at the Great Northeast Athletic conference Championship meet on Saturday afternoon at St. Joseph's College of Maine. Emmanuel College won the men's team championship with 49 points, followed by St. Joseph's with 57 points and Norwich with 62 points.

Alex Weselcouch earned All-Conference honors, finishing in 8^th place overall with a time of 29:12 and he was followed by Cameron Wiewel whose time of 29:41 was good for 17^th place overall in the meet. The duo of Kyle Northrop and Andrew Panther crossed the line one second apart for the Lasers, finishing 30^th and 31^st respectively with times of 33:09 and 33:10. Priamo Compres finished with a time of 24:20 in 33^rd place, followed by Tyler Schwabe and Leo Saporta in 38:01 and 39:26.
