KEENE, N.H. (8/31/13) - The Lasell College men's cross country team kicked off their 2013 season competing in the Keene State Alumni Cross Country Meet on Saturday morning. The Lasers finished 7th overall in the meet, led by sophomore Alex Weselcouch who finished 47th.

Weselcouch covered the 5K course in 18:20.5 finishing in 47th place overall and leading the way for the Lasers. Cameron Weiwel was the second runner across the finish line for Lasell, placing 68th with a time of 19:35.6. Kyle Northrop placed 71st on the day, with his time of 19:50.9 being the third best mark of the day for Lasell.

Andrew Panther posted a time 21:25, good for 85th place, with Conor Devlin just behind in 87th at 21:51, and Tyler Schwabe in 99th with a final time of 24:57.

Lasell will head to the Smith College Invitational on Saturday September 7th for an 11:00 a.m. opening gun.
