Pat MacDonald

Pat MacDonald

Pat MacDonald is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Lasell men's volleyball program. MacDonald had a notable career in his time as a student-athlete for Lasell men's volleyball. 

MacDonald played four years for the Lasers from 2014-2017. In the 2015 season, he assisted the Lasers to their first Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship. This subsequently led to the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance. In the following two seasons, MacDonald was honored with back-to-back All-GNAC First Team selections. 

Previously, MacDonald was at Emerson College for a year coaching the men’s and women’s volleyball teams there. He also served as the Recruiting Coordinator at Emerson where he spent time on the road traveling to junior’s tournaments around the country looking for future student-athletes. Other programs that MacDonald has been a part of include Boston College (Intern Assistant), Brookline H.S. (J.V. Head Coach), and Club Ace Long Island (Assistant Coach).
