Newton, MA - The Lasers took home a huge win in the fifth set of last night's matchup against #1 Wentworth.
The Lasers kept toe to toe with the Leopards for the entirety of the first and second sets, pulling ahead and winning right at the end.
The third and fourth set each had five errors from the Lasers, allowing Wentworth to capitalize and even out the overall score. The two teams returned to the court for set numbe five. Things stayed neck and neck, but at the ten point mark the momentum for Lasell picked up and they snagged the next five points back to back.
Theo Zaharewicz lead the Lasers with a whopping 15 kills and 11 digs on the match. Brenden Joyce and Jan Baranowski followed closely behind with double digit kills on the evening. Jesus Garcia lead the Lasers to the win with 47 assists.
