MTrack: Connor Parker Wins GNAC Championship in Weight Throw, Team Finishes 5th

Boston, MA - The Lasell Men's Track & Field team competed in the GNAC Indoor Championships on Sunday, and finished 5th with 41 points.

One Laser won their event on Sunday, and that was Connor Parker in the Weight Throw. He put up a personal best of 10.97m, giving him the gold. Finishing third in the event was Franklin Torres, who also put up a PR or 9.55m. Each of them also competed in the shotput, with Parker putting up a throw of 8.69m, anf Torres 8.51.

In other field events, Zachary Kirsch placed second in the Triple Jump, posting a season best of 12.64m. He also posted a mark of 5.30m in the Long Jump.

On the track, Ben Abely was the star for the Lasers, as he finished second in the 60m Dash with a season best time of 7.31s. He also posted a season best in the 200m with a time of 23.39s, which placed him 5th.

In the 60m Hurdles event, two Lasers finished in the top six, as Spencer Villinski finished 5th, and Jordan Woodley finished 6th. their times were 9.84s and 9.99s respectively.

In the 400m, Kadeem Abroise set a new PR with a time of 52.42s, which was good for 6th. In the 800m, Michael Curran set a PR with a time of 2:10.07, also placing him 6th.

The 4x400m team of Woodley, Curran, Villinski, and Nick Fernandes finsihed 5th with a time of 3:48.74.
