QUINCY, Mass. – The Lasell University men's track & field team wrapped up the spring season Sunday afternoon, posting some solid performances at a dual meet against the University of Massachusetts Boston at Faxon Field.
The Laser men had 10 competitors in the meet, competing in eight events. No team scores were kept.
The top performance by the Laser men came from sophomore Ben Abely (Stonington, Conn.), who placed first in the 100 meters in a time of 11.97 seconds.
Freshman Connor Parker (Rutland, Vt.) outperformed his opponent in two field events, winning the shot put with a mark of 8.89 meters (29'2") and the discus with a mark of 23.06 meters (75'8").
