WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Sprinter Ben Lane (Rutland, Vt.) made his second appearance at the Division III New England Championships Friday at Williams College, representing Lasell College in the 100m dash.

Lane, the school record holder in the event, had a seed time of 11.24 seconds. He placed 25th overall in the preliminaries with a time of 11.43 seconds. Only the top eight advance to Saturday's finals.

Lane will be back on the track on Saturday, competing in the 200m dash. He is seeded 28th with a seed time of 22.74 seconds. He previously competed in the 200 at the New Englands in 2017, placing 12th overall with a school-record time of 22.21.  Saturday's race is slated to begin at 2:40 p.m.
