BOSTON, Mass. – The Lasell College men's track & field team was represented by five student-athletes Saturday at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational at BU's Track & Tennis Center. The event included over 1,000 athletes representing numerous colleges, universities and clubs in all divisions.

The Lasers had four entries in the 60-meter dash. Senior Ben Lane (Rutland, Vt.) placed 33rd in a season-best time of 7.45 seconds, bettering his previous best by 0.01 of a second. Sophomore Ben Biello (North Dighton, Mass.) finished 40th in 8.03 seconds, freshman James Falzone (Waltham, Mass.) crossed the line 41st in a season-best 8.08, and sophomore Chase King (Eastham, Mass.) finished 42nd in 8.18 seconds.

Biello also competed in the 200 meters and lowered his season-best mark to 24.71 seconds, placing 195th. Junior Matt Holden (Methuen, Mass.) was Lasell's entry in the 800 meters, placing 265th in 2:12.13, 0.22 of a second better than his time from two weeks ago.

The Lasers will compete again on Sunday, February 17, at the at USATF New England Open Indoor Championships at Harvard University.
