NEWTON, Mass. (2/17/15)- The Lasell College indoor men's track and field achieved a few personal records at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational this past weekend.

Junior Jeremy Shriber (Central Valley, N.Y.) set a personal record in the mile, finishing at 4:56.95. Shriber crushed his former mile time of 5:04.33, which he set in January at the Boston University Terrier Invitational.

For the sprinters, junior Andrew Panther (Chesire, Conn.) continued to finish strong for the Lasers, running the 400m race in 50.92 seconds. Freshman Joshua Nixon (Bloomfield Conn.) also recorded a time of 7.66 seconds in the 60m dash.

The squad will travel to Springfield College on February 20 and 21 to complete in the New England Division III Championship for their next contest.
