BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (3/22/14) – The Lasell College men's track and field team kicked off their 2014 outdoor schedule at the Bridgewater State meet on Saturday March 22^nd.

Josias Manzanillo placed 33^rd in the 100M dash with a time of 13.49 and 34^th in the 200M dash in 26.92 in his outdoor track and field debut. Ryan MacLeod also ran the 100M dash, posting a time of 14.63.  Tyler Schwabe doubled up in the throwing events, finishing 28^th in the discus with a throw of 21.46 and 32^nd in the shot put with a distance of 8.95 meters.

Kyle Northrop took 23^rd in the 5000M with a time of 18:52.61 and posted a time of 2:27.16 in the 800M which was good for 33^rd. Patrick Sponzo notched the best place of the day for the Lasers, finishing 10^th in the 800M with a time of 2:12.15. Tyler Cohen rounded out the competitors for the men, running the 1500M in 5:01.13 to place 34^th.

Up next for Lasell will be the Tufts Snowflake Classic on Saturday March 29^th.
