Men's Track and Field Closes Out Winter Season at MIT

BOSTON, Mass. (2/8/14) – The Lasell College men's track and field team wrapped up their 2014 indoor season at the Gordon Kelly Invitational at MIT on Saturday February 8th.

Josias Manzanillo recorded a personal best in the 200M with a time of 27.63, and also ran the 60M dash, finishing in 8.123 seconds. Richard Igbani finished 17th in the 200M with a time of 24.56 while also running in the 60M dash, posting a time of 7.77 seconds. Ryan MacLeod was the third Lasers sprinter to compete in the 60M and 200M double, recording times of 8.87 and 2.960 in the events.

Shawn Woodsworth ran the 400M for Lasell, finishing 17th on the day with a time of 1:02.55. In his first ever attempt at the 3,000M Patrick Schwabe ran a 9:53.8 and fellow sophomore Tyler Cohen finished with a time of 10:55.92. Junior Tyler Schwabe finished with a distance of 8.89 meters in the shot put, his third best distance of the season.
