The Lasell College men's track and field team traveled to MIT for the last meet of their 2011-12 season and made the most of the trip. The Lasers set three new school records, and two new personal records in their successful season finale.

Senior JB Leger(Waltham, MA) broke his own school record in the high jump, successfully clearing 1.81 meters which placed him eighth overall. Junior Antonio Nesbit(Springfield, MA) finished second in the 200M dash, and his time of 24.12 broke the Lasell College record by .08 seconds. Freshman Patrick Kuffour burst onto the scene in the men's 55M dash, placing first overall and breaking teammate Antonio Nesbit's school record, with a time of 6.70 seconds.

Freshman Tyler Schwabe(Groton, MA) and senior Ryan Hodgson(Providence, RI) both set new personal records in the mens shot throwing 9.10 meters and 8.47 meters respectively.
