MLax: Lasers Break Single Game Goal Record with 29-1 Win

Newton, MA - The Lasers hosted Mitchell College in a GNAC matchup, snagging a 29-1 win and breaking the Lasell goals in a single-game record. 

The Lasers came out hot in the first quarter, scoring a goal every minute and a half. Eight different Lasers scored in the first quarter, paired with four goals from Colin LeBaron

Lasell headed back onto the field for the second quarter with an 11-0 lead. LeBaron tacked a fifth goal onto the day in the first minute of the quarter. The Lasers continued to outscore the Mariners, heading to halftime with a 20-1 lead. 

The Lasers began to slow things down in the last two quarters, collecting the 29-1 win. 

LeBaron collected seven goals on the day, and two assists. Austin Wenzel tallied five assists on the match, a new career high. Jason Martin also put up a new career high four assists. Cameron Soave had three saves in the net for the Lasers. 

Up Next: The Lasers are set to host Dean College this Saturday in another GNAC matchup. The Lasers will be celebrating senior day prior to the match.
