NEWTON, Mass. – The Lasell College men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-9 decision to Plymouth State University Monday afternoon in non-conference action at Grellier Field.

The Panthers notched three straight goals in the first five and half minutes of the third quarter to extend the margin to 10-4. Senior Mike Susi (Gorham, Maine) brought the Lasers back into the game with 2:19 remaining in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 10-5.

After PSU pulled away to a 14-6 lead with nine minutes remaining, Lasell closed out the game with three straight goals from senior Alex McCormack-Kuhman (Wells, Maine), Tomasetti and Fidalgo. Time ran out on the Lasers comeback bid, as the Panthers held on for the win.
