NEWTON, Mass. (2/19/15) – By the head coaches of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), the Lasell College men's lacrosse team was tabbed second in the conference annual preseason poll. Emmanuel led the election with seven out of nine possible first place votes, and 78 points overall. Lasell finished second with one first-place vote, and 69 overall points.

The team is coming off of a hot year, finishing 11-6 and 9-1 in conference play. After seeing the season end in the GNAC semifinals to Becker College with a tight score of 12-11, the men's lacrosse team will look to get into the postseason tournament once again.

Lasell opens their schedule on Saturday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. for a nonconference match up against Salve Regina. After a trip to Georgetown, Texas, the squad will host Rivier at 2:30 p.m. on March 21 for their GNAC opener.
