    NEWTON, Mass. (5/8/15)- Senior Aaron LaPorte (Gorham, Maine) was placed on the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association 2015 Academic All-New England Team as announced yesterday afternoon.

    NEWTON, Mass. (4/28/15) – Senior Aaron LaPorte and juniors Andrew Suh (Colchester, Conn.) Mike Pino (Tewksbury, Mass.), and Casey Sullivan (Quaker Hill, Conn.) received All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) honors as voted upon by the league’s nine head coaches. LaPorte, Suh, and Pino were named to the First Team, while Sullivan was placed on the Second Team.

    BOSTON, Mass. – Trailing by a goal at the half, No. 1 Emmanuel College outscored No. 4 Lasell College 7-3 in the second stanza en route to a 9-6 victory in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Semifinals Thursday evening at Roberto Clemente Field. With the win, EC improves to 12-4 on the year and advances to the GNAC Championship for the second consecutive season while the Lasers fall to 9-7.

The loss drops the Lasers to 6-4 on the year and 3-3 in GNAC play, while the Wildcats climb to 4-6 overall and even out at 2-2 in the conference.

    PORTLAND, Maine – Lasell College (6-3, 3-1 GNAC) held a 7-1 lead at intermission and held off a late surge to defeat Saint Joseph’s College (5-4, 2-2 GNAC), 13-9, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men’s lacrosse contest at Deering Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night. Monks Freshman Brendan Barrett (East Sandwich, Mass.) totaled two goals, two assists and three ground balls in the losing effort.
