NEWTON, Mass. (2/26/14) - The Lasell College men's lacrosse team was picked third by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference coaches in the pre-season voting heading into the 2014 campaign. The Lasers are coming off an 8-8 season a year ago, when they finished third in the GNAC with a 7-2 league record. Lasell was upset in the GNAC tournament quarterfinals by Becker College, 12-8.
The Lasers kick-off their 2014 season on Saturday March 1st when they travel to Salve Regina for a 1:00 p.m. contest and they will play their home opener on Saturday March 8th when the will host Norwich University in their GNAC opener. The rest of the non-conference schedule includes road trips to Roger Williams and UMass-Boston while Lasell will host Plymouth State and Gordon College outside of their GNAC games.
