Men's Lacrosse Drops Road Contest at Wesleyan

Middletown, Conn. (3/13/15) - The Lasell College men's lacrosse team fell on the road to 17th ranked Wesleyan University on Wednesday evening. The loss dropped Lasell to 1-3 on the year, while Wesleyan remained undefeated, improving to 3-0 on the season. 

Andy Puopolo (Duxbury, Mass.) scored the lone goal for Lasell on an assist from Dan Clark (Scarborough, Maine). David Walen (Longmeadow, Mass.) made eight saves in the first half, taking the loss in goal for Lasell, while Chris Thomas-Ikier (Burlington, Mass.) made five saves in net for Lasell in the second half.

Graham Macnab (Winter Park, Fla.) tallied four goals and an assist, and Ian Vasquez (Ridgefield, Conn.) added two goals and two assists to help the Cardinals pick up the 18-1 victory. Mark Simmons (East Hampton, N.Y.) made a pair of saves to earn the victory in goal for Wesleyan.
