Men's Lacrosse Remains Unbeaten in GNAC Play

Paxton, Mass. – Lasell defeated the AMCATS 13-6, today in Great Northeast Athletic Conference men's  lacrosse action at AMCAT field. The loss drops the AMCATS to 4-6, 1-3 on the season while Lasell improves to 5-4, 3-0 GNAC.

The Lasers were paced by Dylan Gray (Bayport, NY) who netted four goals and Jake LaMorte (Walpole, MA) who added a hat trick of his own.  Chris Livelli added a goal and a pair of assists, and Ladson Shaello-Johnson (Binghamton, NY) tallied a goal and an assist on the day.

Anna Maria's Summers found the back of the twine just :56 seconds into the game, Lasell would later tie the game with a goal by Dylan Gray to even the score at 1-1 at the end of the first quarter.

The teams traded goals and then Lasell broke the game open scoring four goals in a 1:15 second span. Jake LaMorte scored to start the run, followed by goals from Gray, Shaello-Johnson and Billy Wood, to take a 6-2 lead into the locker room.

Lasell outscored the AMCATS 3-1 in the third quarter, and scored the first two goals in the fourth quarter building an 11-3 lead with 10:38 to play. Anna Maria outscored Lasell 3-2 over the final ten minutes of the game to reach the 13-6 final margin.

Don Berube (Tewksbury, MA) stopped 11 shots to earn the win in goal for Lasell.
