Brian Yepez (Hillsborough, NJ), a senior attackman on the Lasell College men’s lacrosse team, has been selected as the Pilgrim League Player of the Week.  

Yepez was selected during a week where he averaged six points per game and totaled six goals and six assists in two Pilgrim League victories.  The senior began the week with an eight point contest, unloading five goals and dishing out three assists in the Lasers’ 12-10 win over Wheaton College.  In the second conference tilt, Yepez score one goal and distributed the ball for three assists in a 13-5 triumph over Norwich University.

Yepez is the Lasers’ leading point and goal scorer this season, having connected on 18 goals, adding 14 assists, for 32 total points.  He scored seven of those goals in man-up situations and has also contributed with 21 ground balls.

Yepez is currently ranked 9th in the Pilgrim league for assists per game (1.08), 10th in points per game (2.46), and 5th in man-up goals (7).
