Newton, MA - The GNAC named their weekly award winners on Monday, and Lasell's Che Hanks was named the Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week.

Hanks averaged 12.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game for the Lasers this past week. Hanks put up 20 points on 66.7 percent shooting from the field (8-for-12) while also notching five rebounds, seven assists, and adding a steal and a block apiece in a 82-72 victory over Husson on Tuesday (Dec. 5). On Saturday (Dec. 9), the first year put up 10 points, six boards, two assists, and two steals in a setback against Worcester State.
