Waltham, MA - The Lasell Lasers fell to the Brandeis Judges on Thursday by a final score of 62-57. The Lasers are now 6-4, while the Judges are 6-2.

The Judges held the early lead at 10-4, and kept the lead for a majority of the first half. It wasn't until the four minute mark that the Lasers tied things back up. A greg farrow three with two minutes left in the half gave the Lasers their first lead of the game at 26-23. The Lasers would eventually head into halftime up by two with a 30-28 score.

The second half was also a tightly contested half, with the Lasers jumping out to a six point lead at 38-32 with 16 minutes left in the game. That proved to be the largest lead of the game by either team. The two teams traded baskets over the next six minutes, and the Lasers still held a six point lead at the midway point of the half. But an 11-0 run by the Judges turned the game around, and gave them a five point lead with just under four minutes left in the game. The Lasers had an opportunity to tie the game in the final seconds, but came up short, falling 62-57.

The Lasers were led on offense by Greg Farrow and Marcus Lewis, as each scored 16. Farrow also led the team with eight rebounds, one more than Andy Madesko's seven. Madesko also scored nine points. Che Hanks led the team with four assists, while Gabe Qua led the defensive effort with four steals and one block.

Up Next - The Lasers will take on Worcester State on the road on Saturday, starting at 3pm.
