Newton, MA – The Lasell Lasers won their second game of the season Tuesday night in a blowout win against Gordon, 87-63. The Lasers now sit at 2-1 on the season while the Scots drop to 0-3.

The game was dead even early on as the Scots would take a 10-9 lead at the 13:41 mark, but that would be their last lead of the day as the Lasers would go on a 27-6 run over the next eight minutes. That run was led by freshman, Andy Medesko and junior, Marcus Lewis as they combined for 14 of those points.

The Scots brought it back to a 15-point game, despite being down 44-26 at halftime, but a couple more layups and free throws each for Lewis and Medesko pushed the Lasers back into the driver's seat. Freshman Che Hanks also contributed with some key buckets down the stretch to extend the Laser lead late into the second half.

The Lasers had four double-digit scorers for the second game in a row as Medesko led the way again with 17 off the bench. Following Medesko was Lewis (16), sophomore Quinton Partee Jr. (14) and Hanks (14). Medesko and Lewis each grabbed nine boards and dished out five assists, but Medesko managed to best Lewis in steals snagging four to Lewis' three.

Up Next – The Lasers are back at home on Thursday to face Eastern Nazarene at 7 PM.
