NEWTON, Mass. – With the NCAA basketball preseason practices officially underway this week, Lasell College has released the men's and women's basketball schedules for the 2018-19 season. The schedules are now available online on the official website for Lasell Athletics – laserpride.lasell.edu.

The Laser men's squad, led by 13th-year head coach Aaron Galletta, will tip off the campaign on Saturday, November 10, with a non-conference game at Fitchburg State University, beginning at noon. The first home game at the Lasell Athletic Center will be Monday, November 12, at 7:00 p.m. with a non-conference game against Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) foe Regis College, followed by a non-conference match-up on Wednesday, November 14, vs. Babson College at 7:00 p.m. The official GNAC slate will begin on Tuesday, January 8, against Saint Joseph's College (Maine) at the Athletic Center.

The Laser women's squad, led by fifth-year head coach Todd Montana, will open up the season with a home game on Tuesday, November 13, against Northern Vermont University-Johnson at 7:00 p.m. at the Lasell Athletic Center. The Lasers will compete in two in-season tournaments in the first month, first at Middlebury College (Vt.) on Friday-Saturday, November 16-17, and then at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Saturday-Sunday, November 24-25. Lasell's GNAC schedule will begin on Tuesday, January 8, at Simmons University.
