Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers ended their regular season with a 5-0 win over The Rivier Raiders on Tuesday. The Lasers are now 14-1 on the season, and 11-1 in GNAC play. The Lasers will likely be the two seed in the GNAC Playoffs, kicking off on Saturday.

The Lasers kicked off the scoring early, as Sheridan Blaha deflected a shot from Abbey Playle just four minutes into the game. The goal was Blaha's 22nd of the season, and continued her run of scoring a goal in every game of the season, something that no one else in the country has done. Blaha would repeat the act late in the second quarter, this time deflecting a shot from Lily Stark. That goal, Blaha's 23rd of the season, tied her with Stark's total from last year for most in a single season in school history.

The Lasers would continue to add to their ead in the third with a pair of goals from Abbey Playle and Kaylene Ellis. Playle would add another goal in the fourth with the play of the game, an absolute rocket of a shot to the top shelf of the goal. It was her 18th goal of the season.

Courtney Tello was a brick wall in net, stopping all 12 shots that came her way, securing her second shutout of the season.

Up Next - The Lasers will open up their playoff run with a 11am game on Saturday, with their opponenet still to be decided.
