Dartmouth, MA - The Lasell Lasers continued to blow the competition away on Tuesday, defeating UMass Dartmouth 4-1, improving their record to 8-0 on the season, while the Corsairs are now 2-7. The win extends the Lasers win streak to eight, a program record, besting the previous mark of six.

The Lasers struck first with a goal nine minutes into the game when Sheridan Blaha scored. The Lasers then doubled their lead in the second on a Jacquelyn Scopa goal, giving them a 2-0 lead at the break. They continued to build their lead by adding a third goal in the third quarter, this time from Lily Stark, assisted by Blaha. After the Corsairs got one back late in the fourth, Scopa would score her second of the game to give the Lasers the 4-1 win.

Courtney Tello started in net and played the first three quarters, stopping both shots that she faced. She won her eighth game of the season.

Up Next - The Lasers will face arguably their toughest test of the season in their next game when they travel to Simmons on Saturday for an 11am start.
