Newton, MA - The Lasell Lasers continued their great start to their season with a 12-3 win over Albertus Magnus. It is the Laser's fifth straight win to open the season, and ties them for the second longest win streak in program history. They are now 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in GNAC play, while the Falcons are now 0-4 overall and in GNAC play. The 12 goals by the Lasers ties the school record for goals in a game, which these Lasers set last week against Elms.

Sheridan Blaha opened the scoring with a goal four minutes into the game. Abbey Playle would double the lead two minutes later. Graduate student Mckensie Lennon would make it 3-0, scoring her first goal since 2021. Playle would add another goal before the end of the quarter. It was 4-1 after one quarter.

The second quarter was no different, with the Lasers scoring four goals, from four different scorers. Playle, Lily Stark, Kaylene Ellis, and Blaha each scored, and it was 8-1 at halftime.

The Lasers would add four more in the second half with Halleen Seguin and Casey Davis each scoring one, and Isabella O'Reilly scoring twice. For Davis and O'Reilly it marked their first career goals.

Courtney Tello picked up her fifth win of the season, making two saves in the first half. It is her 22nd career win, tying Linda Williams '06 for second most in school history. This was Tello's 41st career game played, while Williams played 71. McKenna Ecker played the second half and made seven saves on nine shots.

The Lasers outshot the Falcons 28-14, and attempted 13 penalty corners to Albertus' 10.

Up next - The Lasers will look to tie the school record for longest winning streak when they take on Regis on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
