Newton, MA - On Tuesday the GNAC announced their weekly award winners, and two Lasell Field Hockey players were honored. Abbey Playle was named the Player of the Week while Courtney Tello was named the Goalie of the Week.

Playle, a graduate student from Reading, England, scored four goals across two games, including three in her first game, a win over Salem State. She became the first person in school histroy to record a hat trick in her first game.

Tello, a junior from Nashua, NH, recorded seven saves across two games, allowing just one goal in the two wins.
