NEWTON, Mass. (9/6/16) – Junior goalkeeper Denise Landry was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias field hockey goalkeeper of the week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Landry backstopped the Lasers to a 2-0 start to the season, totaling six stops for the week for a save percentage of .857. Landry recorded all six saves in an overtime thrilling victory against WPI, letting just one goal in during 72 minutes of play.

Landry and the Lasers continue non-conference play on Thursday, September 8 when they head to Clark University for a 7:00 p.m. game.
