DANBURY, Conn. (10/1/15) – Just two days after freshman Cailin Flannery (Medford, N.J.) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias field hockey player and rookie of the week, the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) named Flannery as this week's ECAC DIII Corvias rookie of the week as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

Flannery steered the Lasers to a 2-1 finish last week, as she registered seven goals and three assists for 17 total points. The GNAC's leading scorer put away two goals in a 6-3 loss to Salve Regina before recording her first collegiate hat trick in an 8-0 victory over Elms College. Flannery ended the week with a goal and an assist in a 4-0 shutout against Becker.  

Flannery and the Lasers will host Wheelock College today for a non-conference match up at 4:00 p.m.
