Less than three minutes later, Lasell freshman Cailin Flannery (Medford, N.J.) put back a saved shot from sophomore Shannon Motz (Readington, N.J.) to push the Lasers lead to 2-0. Flannery struck again in the 12th minute, knocking home a loose ball on a penalty corner from Lasell.

With 15:33 remaining in the half, Flannery drove through the left side of the field and delivered a cross pass to senior Cristina Wilson (Wilmington, Mass.), who tucked a shot past Alvino in front of the goal, increasing the Lasell advantage to 4-0. In the 33rd minute, Lasell freshman Brittany Fortier (Newport, Vt.) found Flannery on the right side of the net, who ripped a shot past Alvino's left side, giving the Lasers a 5-0 lead heading into the intermission.

Lasell carried their momentum into the second half with junior Courtney Braman (Gardner, Mass.) knocking home a put back goal in the 41st minute, extending the Lasers lead to 6-0. Less than four minutes later, Flannery delivered her fourth goal of the game, putting back a rebound of her initial saved shot. The Lasers' final tally came with 14:42 remaining as senior Francesca Ceppetelli (Enfield, Conn.) redirected a shot from sophomore Erica Connors (South Berwick, Maine) in front of the net, sending Lasell to an 8-0 win.

The Lasers dominated the shot column, 43-9, during the contest. Alvino stopped 22 shots for the Blazers, while Lasell sophomore goalie Denise Landry (New Milford, Conn.) made two saves in the win.
