Field Hockey Quartet Earn NAC All-Academic Honors

NEWTON, Mass. (2/12/14) – The Lasell College field hockey team had four players named to the North Atlantic Conference All-Academic team for the Fall of 2013 season. The NAC All-Academic requires student-athletes to have reached junior academic standing, have competed in a minimum two years of varsity competition at their institution with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.

The Lasers placed seniors Rachel Cronin (Centerville, Va.) and Emily Cooper (Riverhead, N.Y.) on the All-Academic team along with juniors Taylor Hulitzky (Medway, Mass.) and Brianna Robbins (Auburn, Maine). The quartet earned NAC All-Academic honors following a field hockey season when Lasell won the second most games in program history with 10 victories. The 2013 season is the final season in the NAC for Lasell, who will compete with the rest of the Lasers athletic programs in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference beginning in the Fall of 2014.
