NEWTON, Mass. (11/6/2013) - Lasell College junior Nikita Soares (Westport, Conn.) was selected by the North Atlantic Conference field hockey coaches for her outstanding season as a member of the All-NAC second team. Soares totaled 25 points on the season with 10 goals and five assists, leading the team in both categories. 

Soares scored in seven different games for Lasell, and the Lasers were 5-2 in contests in which Soares made the scoresheet.

Lasell ended their season with a quarterfinal loss at St. Joseph's (Maine) after having the second best year in the history of the program. The Lasers finished 10-10 on the year, only the second time the program has reached double digit victories.
