WALKER NAMED NAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Caitlyn Walker.JPG Caitlyn Walker has been named Field Hockey Player of the Week for the North Atlantic Conference for the first time this season, after recording 6 goals against Elms College on Wednesday, October 8th. 

 

Walker, a junior forward from Middlebury, Connecticut, set a career and school record for number of goals in a game.  Walker is nationally ranked in Division III NCAA statistics at 14th for points per game with 3.00 per game, and 11th overall for goals per game, averaging 1.36.

 

Within the NAC conference, Walker is ranked 3rd for total points (33) and 2nd for points per game.  She is currently first in the league for goals with fifteen this season, and goals per game. Walker also has 2 game winning goals this season.

 

Only a junior, Walker has already made quite a mark on the Lasell College field hockey program.  With 30 career goals and 9 career assists, Walker has a total of 69 career points, and is well on her way to setting more school records for the Lasers.
