Connor Cavanagh enters his 11th season on the Lasell University baseball staff in 2022-23 and currently serves in an Assistant Coach capacity. He joined the Lasell baseball staff in the fall of 2012 after graduating as one of the most decorated players in the program's history. Cavanagh completed his bachelor's degree in sport management at Lasell in May 2012 and currently resides in Quincy, Massachusetts.

A three-year captain with the baseball program, Cavanagh was named to the Rawlings Third Team All-New England baseball team following his junior and senior seasons. He was chosen by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference coaches as a Third Team All-GNAC outfielder after his sophomore season, and as a First Team All-GNAC outfielder at the conclusion of both his junior and senior campaigns.

Cavanagh ranks at the top of many career and single-season records including first in career batting average (.350), first in slugging pct. (.531), first in games played (135), first in games started (133), fourth in runs scored (77), first in doubles (45), second in triples (7), first in home runs (7), first in runs batted in (120) and second in walks(52). He also holds the single-season record for batting average (.410), on-base percentage (.500), doubles (19), home runs (4), RBI's (48), and total bases (84).

In 2010 Conor worked as a baseball operations intern with NECBL Laconia Muskrats, and he still plays with the Weymouth Phillies in Cranberry League.
