Janard Jones is in his second year as a graduate assistant here at Lasell University for Athletic Digital Content and Social Media.
Jones manages Lasell Athletics’ social media pages and oversees social media posts such as game day posts, post game results posts, and award posts. He is also the Laser’s main home event photographer for all varsity teams. In addition, Jones assists with website maintenance, writing post game recaps, and coordinates media days for teams.
Prior to Lasell University, Jones graduated from Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, MA in 2019 with an associates degree in Sport Management. Jones also graduated in 2021 from Salem State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Movement Science majoring in Sports Management.
During his time at Bunker Hill, Janard was a former Bunker Hill standout who won the MCCAC title in 2016-2017 and won the Region XXI title in 2018-2019 and earned all-region honors in 2018-2019 while he helped lead the Bulldogs to a 28-6 record, most in school history. He then went on to play Division III basketball for the Salem State Vikings Men’s Basketball Program in 2019-2020.
